Preparation and Characteristics of the Fired Bricks Produced from Polyaluminum Chloride Slag and Glass Powder

Polyaluminum chloride slag produced in the production of water treatment agents pollutes environment and wastes land resources process landfill waste. In order to solve resource waste researching polyaluminum slag, it was used prepare sintered bricks. this study, bricks were prepared from glass powder. Taking compressive strength, absorption, linear shrinkage bulk density as measurement indexes, effects powder content (0–10 wt%), molding moisture (10–20%), pressure (15–27.5 MPa), heating method (heat preservation at 400 °C 1000 for 2 h, heat 500 h), rate (2–10 °C/min) sintering temperature (900–1100 °C) on performance brick conditions meeting Chinese standards studied. Then, different temperatures characterized by X-ray diffraction scanning electron microscopy.
